Welcome to Sanliurfa Airport. Meet with your guide and depart to visit Balikli Göl. It is as known as Sacred Fish Pool. It is very famous because of the story and it is believed that where Prophet Abraham thrown to fire by Nimrud and miraculosly turned into water. Next to it we will visit to cave where probhet Abraham was born. At same location we will see the Halil-ur-Rahman Mosque as it is surrounding the Pool of Sacred Fish. After the tour check into your hotel. Overnight in Sanliurfa.
Meet at lobby at 08:30 – 09:00 am for departure to Harran where is a famous place with Ancient University. Nowdays you may see the ruins of that university , that was very important university for Science , Culture and Religion. After here we will drive to Gobeklitepe. It is one of the oldest archeological site in the World and date back to 12.000 years. Continue to Nemrut Mountain and on the way we will give a break time to see Ataturk Dam. It is very important for Southeastern Anatolia Project ( GAP ) and the aim is to improve Agriculture and generating hydroelectiric power. After the short break we leave to Nemrut National Park where is located at Nemrut Mountain in Kahta / Adiyaman. Nemrut Mountain is an important archeological site. There are erected large statues to symbolise Royal Tomb from 1st Century BC. You may see the statue of King Antiochus I Theos of Commagene , various god and goddess from the Commagene Civiliation. We will wath the Sunset as it is very famous to see the best views , after tour return back to your hotel. Overnight in Sanliurfa.
